
Ono Butter Mochi
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.Mix wet ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla, and milk until smooth.Mix dry ingredients:
In a large bowl, stir together the mochiko, sugar, and baking powder.Combine:
Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture.
Stir until smooth and fully blended.
Add the melted butter and flaked coconut, and mix well.
Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 1 hour, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool and serve:
Let the mochi cool completely in the pan.
Cut into small squares or rectangles to serve.
